Vee Two 1972 750SS "Paul Smart Replica"
In the 1990's, Vee Two was at the forefront of the resurgence of popularity in Post Classic motorcycle racing with its successful 1973 750SS that raced in the Formula 750 class.
This bike was a true “Paul Smart Replica” rather than an Imola replica, as it featured the same wide frame design that Smart rode to victory on at the famous track in 1972.
This machine was campaigned at the Mount Panorama Circuit in the 1994 Bathurst Post Classic TT with Alan Cathcart riding. Cathcart won the race aboard the Vee Two machine whilst setting a new lap record during the race.
This record still stands, as it ended up being the last ever motorcycle race held there before the track was closed down to bikes that year.
