Made from CNC turned billet, and comes complete with Viton O-rings for excellent long time sealing. Designed to replace the poorly fitting stock plastic screen insert with a precision metal component that will last forever. Positive seal design ensures that 100% of engine oil goes through filter element. 

Considering that it fits on the only filter between the sump and the oil pump, and the stock item doesn't seal properly allowing unfiltered oil to bypass it, you can see why it is a mandatory fitment to all Vee Two rebuilds to ensure longevity.
