Webrook Engineering Racer
Brook co-owned an engineering firm before starting Vee Two named Webrook Engineering, but it was because of this bike and its success that Vee Two was formed. The engine is a combination of Roundcase and Squarecase parts, with the bevel-drive cylinder heads being converted to belt drive – a radical modification that was unique and experimental at the time.
Brook himself was the rider of this machine, but in his own words he realised that he would never be a world championship rider, as his mind would usually wander off on how to make the bike more competitive, or designs of things that he could try to get some extra horsepower – all whilst in the middle of a race!
He decided to leave the racing to others, and dedicated his time to developing this range of bevel-drive models that he had fallen in love with.
